1. What is Avantika?
Avantika is a Windows based multi-lingual web browser.
2. What is the need of Avantika?
Windows based programs for web browser are designed specifically for English like languages.
Whereas Avantika is a multilingual software for Indian languages. Secondly, the price of this
package is also affordable to the common user.
3. What is work offline?
When you make a Web page available offline, you can read its content when your computer is not connected to the Internet.
4. Can we have multiple instances of Avantika?
Yes
5. Can we open image files in Avantika?
Yes. The graphic filter formats supported are Graphical Image File Format (GIFF), Tagged Image File Format (TIFF), Windows Bitmap (BMP), JPG and PCX.
6. If we try to open another web page from Avantika, it get opened in Internet Explorer, Why?
Until you set Avantika as a default web browser, the web page will be opened from Internet explorer. Hence to open web page from Avantika you have to set Avantika as a default web browser.
7. If I want to stop the process of loading the page then what to do?
If a page you are trying to view is taking too long to open, click the Stop button.
Alternatively select Stop Menu item from View Menu.
View -> Stop
8. Sometimes ‘The page can not be displayed’ message comes. Then what to do in such situation?
If you get a message that a Web page cannot be displayed, or you want to make sure you have the
latest version of the page, click the Refresh button alternatively select Refresh Menu item from View Menu.
