Chitrangan FAQs
Chitrangan is windows
based Indian language drawing tool. It’s a multilingual package.
In the toolbox, click
on A to enter text. Drag the mouse pointer to select size of text box and now
you can enter text in this text box. After finishing click outside the textbox.
In the toolbox, click
on Pencil to create the random shape. Then by dragging the mouse you can generate
random shape.
Change color will
randomly change fill color or background color of shapes.
Yes. By selecting
the appropriate value of pen from Pen width section on Toolbar we can change
the pen width of the shape.
For that press Full
Screen from View menu or Ctrl + F.
Yes. For that click
on the button for Select region from toolbar menu. And then drag the mouse for
selecting the region you want.
After inserting the
standard shape like ellipse, rectangle etc. on right click we can bring that
shape front/back and format that shape. In formatting we can change height,
width, pen color, brush color etc.
To change canvas
size click on Zoom option from View Menu. You can then select canvas size according
to requirement clicking on the canvas.
To change the font
click on Edit font from Edit menu or press Ctrl + D. The selected font will
apply. This will be enabled only when textbox is created.
In Chitrangan we
can open .cng, .jpeg, .bmp files.
If you want to edit
the opened job/file then save it in .cng format and then edit it.
You can arrange
the order of overlapping text and / or graphics frames using the send to front
and / or Send to back commands by right clicking on the object..
Click on Pick color
button in the toolbox. Click the object whose color you want to copy. In the
toolbox, click on Fill with color button. Then click the object or area where
you want this new
color. The color will be copied
