Sandeshika is a Windows
based multi-lingual software for sending and receiving Emails
Windows based Email
processors are designed specifically for English like languages. Whereas Sandeshika
is a multilingual software for Indian languages. Secondly, the price of this
package is also affordable to the common user.
You can create a
different "identity" in Sandeshika for each person who uses the program.
For example, you and a family member may share Sandeshika. Each of you can view
your own mail and your own contacts by creating an identity for yourself. Once
your identity is established, you can create subfolders and organize your contacts
the way you want them
When you work offline,
Sandeshika downloads mail messages to your local computer. When you choose to
work online again, messages you marked for deletion are removed, messages in
your Outbox are sent, and all other actions taken offline are completed.
Yes. The graphic
filter formats supported are Graphical Image File Format (GIFF), Tagged Image
File Format (TIFF), Windows Bitmap (BMP), JPG and PCX.
Yes. In Sandeshika
there is a facility for selecting recipients. After creating the new message
using Select recipient option from Tools menu or using Shift + Ctrl + R, you
can select recipient.
Yes. By right click
on the folders’ section you can create new folder within the local folders.
The messages are
stored in .ema file format.
Using ‘Mark
ad read’/’Mark as unread’ option you can mark the mail as
it is read/unread. And setting the flag for mail you can make it as selected
/ deselected.
Yes. Using options
command from Tools menu you can select the signature page and there by selecting
the language you can have signature in different Indian languages.
Yes. Using options
command from Tools menu you can select the General page and there by setting
the time interval and setting the flag for checking new messages we can have
such facility.
Sorting of mails
is done on the basis of : Attachment, flag, from, subject, received, to
Outgoing mails can
be stored in HTML or Plain text format. Using options command from Tools menu
you can select the Send page and there you can set the mail-sending format.
Yes. By setting
the script setup you can compose mail in other languages.
In Sandeshika there
is a facility to send Attachment upto 1MB and above, as supported by user's
SMTP Server
Yes. Using the background
option from Format menu you can insert any picture on the background or fill
the background with different fill effects like Fountain fill, pattern fill,
bitmap fill etc
Applying stationary
means you can have any HTML file in the background of the composed mail. You
can apply stationary from Format menu.
Yes. Using insert
menu we can attach file or insert picture/signature/hyperlink in the composed
mail.
