established in 1983 by a group of engineers
having a strong R & D background. Modular
Infotech is located in Pune, which is about
2 hours journey by highway from Mumbai (Bombay).
The well known TVS Group with US $ 2 billion
turnover is strategic partner in Modular Infotech
through TVS-E Limited.
Modular Infotech in its early days developed test equipment for an Indian
Defense Establishment, doing import substitution. Modular made pioneering
efforts in developing a totally indigenous microprocessor based CRT phototypesetter.
Modular Infotech made a niche for itself in the DTP market by developing
software packages for the DTP segment. Modular Infotech has pioneered
in developing the largest library of Indic fonts in the world, of over
2700 Fonts for the 10 Indian Languages and also Arabic, Sindhi, Russian
and Sinhala. Modular Infotech has expertise in developing the fonts in
Open Type Font Technology.
Modular Infotech has three software products with a combined user base
of over 200,000 users all over India and abroad.

Pvt. Ltd. has the right mix of hardware and
software required for software development,
testing and an effective electronic data and
document conversion process. Spread over 7200
sq. ft, our work areas are clean and spacious
providing a conducive work environment for
our software developers, testing staff and
operators.
To ensure an uninterrupted implementation process
we have backup systems during power failures.
We use standard as well as customized software
to encode, enter and verify data. Our in-house software professionals
develop proprietory software systems and tools to develop customized
solutions as per requirements of every job. The output data is delivered
on disks, cartridge tapes or CDs or via FTP sites on the internet, ready
for immediate import onto your application, as per requirements.
Global Delivery Model – GDM
Modular’s global delivery model is unique in that it is virtual, and does
not believe in establishing numerous, unnecessary, brick and mortar structures
to generate applications disconnected from the customer’s business processes.
Rather, GDM combines mature off shoring processes. The global delivery model
