Email : I am having problem with Shree-Lipi InDesign CS 6 plugin. Spell checker is not working form Shree-Lipi plug-in. when clicking on the same nothing happens. also when I click on conversion I get a message not able to load plug util.dll. I had formerly complained about the same and i got in touch with Mr. Rohan and he was very co-operative with my problem. And was always co-operative though my frequent mails and complains. He suggested that they are working on the same and will inform me shortly. My purpose of writing the same is to give Mr. Rohan a very heartfelt thanks for his co-operation. and I hope my problem is solved at the earliest.

Email : I am using this software for last two years now. The greatest drawback of this software is very basic. We are unable to search and replace the text in the matter. I am a author and would like to make changes after some time when I realize that one particular word should be used. Secondly the find and replace utility is pretty useless as we cannot change the text when this window is open....... May I request you to please look into this drawback ? If I have reported wrongly, please let me know if I am making any mistake while using this feature...... But to find and replace text in Marathi is absolutely essential.

Tips for InDesign

1) Justify text with last line aligned right Using InDesign CS 5 / 6

If you want to justify your InDesign text with the last line aligned to the right, you'll not find it among the alignment options in the Control Bar. You may think that this kind of alignment isn't possible in InDesign and try to do it manually using tabs, spaces etc. However, to set justified text with the last line aligned right, open the Paragraph panel (choose Window > Type & Tables > Paragraph) and there you'll find the "justify with last line aligned right" button.

2) Tips for using Guides in InDesign CS 5 / 6

1. Double-click the spot on the ruler where you want to add a guide.

2. Hold the Alt key and drag an existing guide to make a copy of it.

3) Text Spacing Shortcut in InDesign CS 5 / 6

You should almost always use styles to control text spacing attributes like tracking and leading, using keyboard shortcuts is always faster to change attributes. Try following shortcuts -

With a selection of text: 

Press Alt+left arrow to decrease tracking
Press Alt + right arrow to increase tracking
Press Alt + up arrow to decrease leading
Press Alt + down arrow to increase leading

With your cursor between two characters:

Press Alt + left arrow to decrease kerning
press Alt + right arrow to increase kerning
