1. Administrator login is required for both Client and Server side Installation.
2. Disable Windows Firewall from Control Panel for both Client and Server side.
3. Disable Antivirus Firewall for both Client and Server side.
4. Disable Windows Defender from Control Panel for Server side.
5. 'Dual Network Port' should not be there at Server Computer.
6. Static IP Network is required.
7. All computers should be in same Domain Network.
8. System should not contain any Shree-Lipi related data such as fonts, files etc.


A) Server Side:
1. Insert Shree Lipi 7.4 DVD.
2. Execute 'NetSetup.exe'.
3. Select 'Server Installation' Mode.
4. Select 'SDog Lock' option.
5. Do Custom Installation (excluding Plugin Options).
6. Get 'Services Installed Successfully message'.
7. In Start Up Menu, select 'None' and proceed further.
8. Restart Server machine.
9. Give Full Access to 'Shree70' Folder (Read/Write/Modify etc.).


B) Client Side:
1. Copy & paste 'Shree70' folder from Server to Client side machine's Drive C:\.
2. Search for ' *.cfg ' files in Shree70 folder. You will find 3 files having ' *.cfg ' extension.
3. From those 3 files, Delete 'MITLMAGT.cfg' file.
4. Execute 'SL7_32.exe' file to create yellow Shree-Lipi icon in Task bar.
5. Execute MAKEGROUP.exe file to create SL Program Group.
6. Run 'Modular Font Manager' to install Fonts.


Start using Shree-Lipi package on Server and Client sides machines.

2. Select the Utilities to uninstall and click on 'Uninstall' option.
3. Uninstallation of Main Package will be completed and then 'Modular Font Manager' will be opened.
4. Select 'Uninstall Fonts' in 'Modular Font Manager'.
5. Select the Fonts to uninstall by selecting the 'Font Layout' and 'Font Type' as well and select 'Remove' option.
6. Uninstallation will be completed.


Note: Make sure that Lock is attached or connected to the machine during Uninstallation.

Detailed use of CFG files -
Server side CFG files:-
Three CFG files are installed and location of those files is as follows -
1.One file is created in Sever folder in the name of MITLMSrv.cfg
2.Other Two files are created in root folder in the name of
MITLMSrv.cfg
MITLMAgt.cfg
1.MITLMSrv.cfg which is in the Server folder:
This file is used for communication between the client and the server. If you open that CFG file in Notepad, you can understand the details of the CFG file.
1.IP Address: This information is generated on the server machine where the Network lock is connected. It is used by clients to find out where the lock is connected - which is the server machine.
2.Port address: The client and server communication is carried out using this port address.
3.Host Name: This information is gathered from where the Network lock is connected. If the server is in domain, the host name will be mentioned with domain name.

Client side CFG files:-
For Client side two CFG files are important which are present in the root folder (i.e. Shree70).
The file names are as follows:
MITLMSrv.cfg
MITLMAgt.cfg
1.MITLMAgt.cfg
oWhen the Shree-Lipi Utilities are executed, the License Manager Agent will also run. This file is used for communication between the utilities and the agent. It will contain Local IP and Port Address. If we copy the files on client side from server instead of installing, this file should be deleted. This file is automatically created with information of IP Address gathered from local machine.
2.MitlmSrv.cfg
oClient communicates with the server properly using this file. This file contains IP of the Server, and not the local IP.
If the Port address needs to be changed:
If the port address of communication between the client and server needs to be changed, please follow the following procedure -

1. Open the MITLMSrv.cfg in the server folder on the server machine.
2. Change the port address to the required value.
3. Copy this CFG file to root folder (Shree70) on the server machine.
4. Copy the CFG file to root folder (Shree70) on ALL the client machines.
5. Restart the server after all the copying is done.
After server is fully up, start Shree-Lipi utilities on the client machines.

2. Map the DVD Drive of the server on node locally.
3. Install Shree-Lipi in regular way from the mapped drive on node.

Note- If you are having Shree-Lipi version 7.3.0.8 or onward version then only you can Copy all data from DVD to Pen drive and then run 'NetSetup.exe' file Pen drive. This is not possible for older versions of Shree-Lipi.

Prerequisites-
1. Administrator Login is required for the installation.
2. Disable Windows Firewall.
3. Disable Windows Defender.


1) Insert Shree-Lipi CD1 in the CD drive of the machine.
2) Open 'PLOCKDRV' folder.
3) Right click on 'MicroDogInstdrv.exe' and select 'Run as administrator' option.
4) Click on 'Install driver' option.

Lock drivers will get installed.

If you are facing any type of error related to Lock Drivers while installation of Shree-Lipi then after installation of drivers connect the lock and install it.
If you are facing any type of error related to Lock Drivers while using Shree-Lipi then after installation of drivers connect the lock and start using Shree-Lipi.

b. Click on < Run >
c. Type < regedit >, Registry Editor Window will open.
d. Click on < + > sign, next to < HKEY_CURRENT_USER >
e. Click on < + > sign, next to < Software >
f. Select the folder < Modular InfoTech>
g. Right Click the folder and click on < Delete >
h. Click on < + > sign, next to < HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >
i. Click on < + > sign, next to < Software >
j. Click on < + > sign, next to < Wow6432Node>
k. Select the folder < Modular InfoTech>
l. Right Click the folder and click on < Delete >
m. Close Registry Editor, and restart the system.

B. For 32 bit Operating System-
a. Click on < Start >
b. Click on < Run >
c. Type < regedit >, Registry Editor Window will open.
d. Click on < + > sign, next to < HKEY_CURRENT_USER >
e. Click on < + > sign, next to < Software >
f. Select the folder < Modular InfoTech>
g. Right Click the folder and click on < Delete >
h. Click on < + > sign, next to < HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE >

k. Right Click the folder and click on < Delete >

Please follow the procedure of installation of new Languages (Script) and Utilities given below-

1. Right click on 'Setup.exe' and click on 'Run as Administrator'.
2. Click on 'I Accept the terms and conditions' and click on OK button.
3. Select Your lock type.
4. Now you will ge maintenance screen. there you can select Language & utility which you want. Then click on install.
5. Installation will get started.
6. After installation of the Main Package, install the fonts from 'Modular Fonts Manager' and then restart the machine.
7. Start using Shree-Lipi Package.

By following above procedure you can install utilities like- Roopa, Roopa3D, Exchange Utility, etc.
