Why should the user set the default font for English and Indian languages?

In order to use 'Set Font on Script Change' option it is necessary to set the 'Default Font' for 'English' as well as the Indian language. Once the default font has been set, whenever 'Activation key' is toggled the font in the respective application will automatically change to the default font. This is required for typing in applications like MS Word, Adobe PageMaker and by doing this, we can type that the font changes to the default font when you toggle the activation key.

For example, let us assume that we have selected 10 point 'Arial' as our English default font and 14 point 'SHREE-DEV-0708', as our 'Devnagri' default font. While working in MS Word, say, we are typing in English using 18 point 'Times New Roman' font. If we want to switch to 'Devnagri', we will enable the 'Activation Key' by pressing it. The current script changes to 'Devnagri' and the current font and point size changes to 'SHREE-DEV-0708' and 14 point respectively as set in the default font option. If we now toggle the 'Activation Key', the current script changes to English and the current font and point size change to 'Arial' and 10 point respectively. This default font is also required while converting a 'Shree-Lipi' editor file to Windows format. For example if we have a 'Devnagri' file entered in Shree-Lipi editor and want to convert it to Windows format, the default font and size applied to the 'Devnagri' text in that file will be 'SHREE-DEV-0708' 14 point.
