What is Keyboard Tutor and How to use it?

Keyboard Tutor-
In Shree-Lipi Keyboard Tutor, the virtual keyboard on the screen is displayed according to the selected script and keyboard layout. You will get a preview of all characters that can be typed using a single key for the current keyboard layout.
It includes 2 types of tutors.
They are-
1. Normal Tutor
2. Executive Tutor

How to use Keyboard Tutor?

Double click on 'Shri' icon (i.e. tray icon or yellow colour icon), to open Main Window of Shree-Lipi and press Activation Key to change the script.

Note:- By default, In Keyboard Tutor, 'No Tutor' option is set.

Normal Tutor-
1.To start the 'Normal Keyboard Tutor', click on 'Keyboard Tutor' in 'Setup' option in Menu Bar of Shree-Lipi Main Window and then click on 'Normal Tutor' option.
2. You can see 3 layers of Keyboard:
1) Normal.
​2) Shift.
​3) Control + Space.

Note:- You can type some characters in the blank space of the Normal Keyboard Tutor but can not save the typed text.

3. You can take print of the selected Keyboard by click on the 'Print' option of the Normal Keyboard Tutor.
4. You can open 'Keyboard Help' of the selected Keyboard by click on the 'Help' option in the 'Normal Keyboard Tutor'. In the Keyboard help, Respective Keystrokes of Vowels, Consonants, Conjuncts and Special characters are given. You can take print of this 'Keyboard Help' as well by selecting 'Print' from 'Option' in the Menu.
There is one more way to open 'Keyboard Help' from 'Help' option in the main menu of Shree-Lipi.
5. You can select the desired keyboard from the drop-down menu or
click on right or left side button to change it and click on 'Set'.
6. You can also open 'Normal Keyboard Tutor', by click on 'Keyboard Symbol' on the toolbar of Shree-Lipi main window and then select 'Normal Tutor' option.
7. You can also open 'Normal Keyboard Tutor', by right click on 'Shri' icon (i.e. tray icon or yellow colour icon), and then select 'Normal Tutor' option from Keyboard Tutor option.


Executive Tutor-
1. To start the 'Executive Keyboard Tutor', click on 'Keyboard Tutor' in 'Setup' option in Menu Bar of Shree-Lipi Main Window & then click on 'Executive Tutor' option.
2. Click on any consonant to get the keystroke for the selected keyboard.
3. Also, keystrokes of some of the conjuncts are also provided.
4. You can zoom in by click on '+' sign and zoom out by click on '-' sign.
5. You can also open 'Executive Keyboard Tutor', by click on 'Keyboard Symbol' on the toolbar of Shree-Lipi main window and then select 'Executive Tutor' option.
6. You can also open 'Executive Keyboard Tutor', by right click on 'Shri' icon (i.e. tray icon or yellow colour icon), and then select 'Executive Tutor' option from Keyboard Tutor option.
