How to install Decorative Fonts? How to use them?

Decorative font facility is given with Shree-Lipi 7.0 and Shree-Lipi Ex font layouts for Devnagari and Bengali scripts. Decorative fonts can be installed using Modular Font Manger. Following steps have to be followed to install decorative fonts -
1. Insert DVD.
2. Open Modular Font Manager.
3. Click on Install Font.
4. Select language.
5. Choose in installation settings Install Decorative Fonts option.
6. Click on one out of eight options for installing Decorative Shiroresha. After selection, the font will get installed. This font can be used in the following way -
i. Double Click on Shree-Lipi 32 bit yellow icon.
ii. This will open Shree-Lipi 32 bit application window.
iii. Select Setup => Script Setup => Decorative Shiroresha => Choose 1 out of 3 options.
iv. Go to the application where we want to type and select the font installed with decorative font option.
v. Type the text in your application. You will get the desired Decorative Shiroresha character.
Decorative Fonts option is available only for Devnagari and Bengali Fonts, whereas For Tamil different pulli selection option is available.
Please note that decorative characters may not print on Windows 7 or some of the Postscript printers for Shree-Lipi 7 layout. You can use the ShreeLipi-Ex layout without any problem.
