Automatic Page Numbering

Create a Master Page as shown below. Place cursor where you want your page number to appear, then Select ‘Type - Insert Special character’ section from InDesign Menu Bar- Select Auto page number option, you will see the letter A instead of a number. Once you create new pages using Master A your page number will appear automatically.
