What is Adobe InDesign?

After Adobe stopped PageMaker developments, Adobe released the powerful InDesign software. Adobe InDesign is a program used to layout documents for print. Part of the print design. It works seamlessly with Photoshop and Illustrator. InDesign is a program that allows you to layout graphic elements on pages for print. InDesign is useful for desktop printers, as well as the high-end printing and plating systems. InDesign is used to create: Catalogs, Advertisements, Flyers, Brochures, Calendars, Posters, Letterhead, User Manuals, Books,and Billboards etc. and many more. Currently InDesign CS6 and CC are the latest software in market. Many people are using CS2, 3, 4, 5 versions of InDesign. Shree-Lipi 7 version works well with all these versions. Adobe has given filter to import PageMaker files in InDesign from InDesign CS3 onward.
